  • Recently, HOPE has partnered up with the Korean Mountain Preservation League to teach English to children outside of the classroom.
  • KMPL is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Korea's mountains. HOPE and KMPL will be working together to give English lessons to financially disadvantaged children. Many children do not have the opportunity to explore and learn about Korea's unique ecology. We plan on organizing monthly activities.

For more information, please email events.hope@gmail.com. To learn more about KMPL, visit their website at www.kmpl.org.

  • We are also trying to form a partnership with Local Orphanages. Volunteers will assist in any way they can, cleaning, cooking, and caring for young children.

If you have any more questions or concerns, Gun Jun Lee (HOPE's manager) would be more than happy to assist you. He can be contacted at manager_hope@naver.com. Or you can check out our website at www.alwayshope.net

Thank you again for your interest in volunteering for HOPE! We're looking forward to hearing from you soon.

As a grassroots, non-profit organization, we are limited in resources. We are looking for individuals/organizations that are willing and able to provide continuous and ongoing support to donate resources and supplies.

We are constantly in need of textbook donations that will assist our volunteers in providing underprivileged children with an English education. In addition, we are in need of basic school supplies (pencils, erasers, colored construction paper, scissors, glue, etc.). As class sizes grow, the demand for textbooks and resources may rise. With your donations, we can make a difference.

Please contact HOPE's executive director, John Baek at bedavinci@naver.com if you are interested in financially supporting HOPE.
